How to get to Berlin

Arriving at the ICC is regardless of how you are travelling. Using one of the world's best public transport systems means getting there quick and straight forward.
There are also taxi ranks, underground/light rail stations and bus stops directly at the entrances of the ICC.

By car

by carAll motorways to Berlin lead to the Berliner Ring (A 10). From there you can continue to the inner city on the urban motorway system.
This urban motorway system provides good links with Berlin's international airports.
12.000 parking spaces are available on and around the ICC. During this major event a free shuttle bus will take you from your car to the ICC and back.
Since January 2008 Berlin's inner city became an "Environmental Zone", into which only cars with certain emissions standards are allowed. A local tagging system is in place which does not include visitor cars and coaches. The ICC is located outside this "Environmental Zone". Visitors travelling by car on the motorway system directly via the interchange marked "Messegelände/Messedamm"are outside the zone and may travel directly to the ICC.

By train

by trainYou can reach Berlin by using the InterCityExpress-, InterCity-, EuroCity- and InterRegio trains and will arrive at the new central station "Hauptbahnhof" in the heart of Berlin.
There are also other railway stations and all are very well connected to the urban public system.
For information on train schedules please refer to www.bahn.de.

By coach

by trainThe main bus station ("Zentraler Ominibusbahnhof Berlin-ZOB") is conveniently located opposite the ICC and is a hub for national and international bus routes and special charters to and from Berlin.

By plane

by PlaneThanks to a very well developed national and international air route system you can quickly reach Berlin in a comfortable way.  The city is served by many international carriers from all over the world.  Berlin’s excellent public transport system makes incoming or outcoming airport links easy and fast. The airports Tegel or Schönefeld are only about 30 minutes away from the city centre.
