Conference Logo
The logo of the IFCC WorldLab - EuroMedLab 2011 Congress displays the Brandenburg Gate. The Brandenburg Gate in the heart of the city stands not only for the reunification of East and West Germany, but has a meaning well beyond this national affair. The Brandenburg Gate stands for the end of the cold war between the Eastern and Western world and is now a symbol for peace and a thriving world. The Brandenburg Gate is open into both directions, the Eastern and the Western hemisphere and invites all nations for political, economic, cultural and scientific exchange. The view through the Gate directs into the future of the 21st century with all its opportunities and challenges. The Brandenburg Gate is wide open to welcome everybody around the world to participate in the IFCC WorldLab – EuroMedLab Berlin 2011 Congress.
